Linn County is a county located in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of 2000, the population was 191,701. The 2006 estimate is 201,853. It is named in honor of Senator Lewis Linn of Missouri. Its county seat is Cedar Rapids, and it is one of the three counties that make up the Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Statistical Area.
